Facts

Interviews & Information Sessions

Interviews are conducted by alumni and are not mandatory. Information sessions are held daily, and a schedule can be found on the Duke Undergraduate Admissions Web site or by calling (919) 684-3214.

Campus Tours

Throughout the year, student-led walking tours of campus are offered. Tours typically last at least one hour and fifteen minutes, and no more than an hour and a half. All tours originate at the Admissions Office, which is located on West Campus. No appointment is necessary; however, if your group is larger than 20 people, contact Admissions in advance about the possibility of a group tour. Also, call ahead if you require accommodations for a physical disability or will require physical assistance during a tour of campus.

Overnight Visits

Admissions will arrange overnight hosting for high school seniors visiting Duke in the fall. With appropriate advance notice (two weeks or more), a Duke student will host a perspective high school student overnight. In April, admitted high school seniors, deciding whether or not to matriculate, can stay overnight during Blue Devil Days.

College Prowler guides are in the hands of students throughout the entire process. Because you can't make student-written guides without the students, we have students at each campus who write, edit, and survey their peers for every guide that we publish.
