I love online courses because it is easier for me to focus and have more time to everything else that I need to get done such as running errands around town, find time reward myself from studying and doing homework.

Best Choice for Me – I really like my school. They actually care about your education. They push you to achieve, if you aren't making the grade, they push you to do better. they have a lot of chances for you to get to know the employment area, with job fairs and such.

Instructors Go Above the Call of Duty – I have found that all my instructors go above the call of duty to help me succeed. They make themselves available to answer questions and take the extra time to help me understand the material and coursework.

I have a hard time motivating myself sometimes, however, once I sit down and get into it I am 100% committed. I find myself sometimes reminding myself to stay motivated so I can earn my diploma.

Online Classes – I am not real familiar with the actual school as I am enrolled online. However, i know that there are many resources available to us students online, as well as at the school. For many of us, the online library is a great resource for completing papers, essays, and doing our research.

Program Problems – I enjoy the relaxed way of doing my schooling online. However I have difficulties with some of the websites that the teachers want us to use for our homework assignments and tests. One in particular has a test that posts to the unit for that week, but several times the post has disappeared before the due date, causing me to not be able to take my tests. I believe that the teachers are using what they think is the best sites and are hoping for the best for their students.

Don't Know – I am an online student so I am rarely at the campus.

Not Good – Switching classes and flexibility are two things this school is great at. Transferring credits out to another school from this one is impossible and will NOT happen so if you plan on transferring to obtain a higher degree then don't start here.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Not Worth It If You Want More – The staff are all wonderful and caring people, they also promote a positive atmosphere. The teachers I have had have also been amazing. However I wish I would have gotten a straight answer about transferrable credits and the hidden fees. I plan on transferring out soon because none of my credits will transfer to an actual University and I feel like I'm taking classes for nothing right now. I am pursuing my Associates but my goal is to obtain my Masters and continuing education here will not get me where I want to go. If you just want a quick degree then this is a great school for you.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
DBU Makes It Easy to Attend College – Although the tuition at DBU is more than other colleges in my town, the extra cost is well worth it. The friendly and helpful enrollment office makes apply so easy. They sit down with you and explain in detail the cost to attend, the specification of the course of study you are pursing and the requirements and obligations of attending college. The financial aid office goes above and beyond to help you with grants, loans and scholarships and assists you in overcoming an issues that may arise. They take the time to explain to you the student loan process, interest and repayment requirements. I cannot say enough good things about my experience so far and would recommend this school to anyone!!!

The career services help you throughout your school education to help you find work. Also, when you are about to graduate, they will notify local employers in your field of study and let them know that there are new employees available for work. Even after you graduate, they will forward your contact information to the local employers.

Very Educational – I am attending classes for Medical Billing and Coding. A do-able amount of work is assigned each week for my classes. I have many job opportunities in my field, such as a hospital, medical office, or an insurance company.

The campus has two computer labs available for students use on weekdays until 9 p.m. I have only used the computers on campus a couple times, however I have not had any problems with the network reliability or speed. Printing is also available on campus. I attend online classes, so it is needed that I have a personal computer and printer is needed, which I currently do have.

No in Person Interaction With Students or Faculty – All my classes are online so I do not interact with my teachers or other students. But I make sure that I am very sensitive and respectable in our group discussions.

Convenient and Great Experience – So far the school has been great! Should we need extra help with any of the topics or how one is to prepare a paper, the instuctors are very helpful and if one needs more time to prepare they are willing to work with you.

Online Classes – This is my first time taking an online class and it is a wonderful experience. The teacher is friendly and answers any and all questions I have. It is a lot of work but she puts it into a format that is easy to follow.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Need Help With Scholarships – I think it would be a big help to new students to sit down with a financial counseler at the time of applying for school. All I was handed was a pink sheet with scholarship websites on it. It would be more benificial to recieve some assistance with this as most of the scholarships require a recommendation. I am also not exactly sure what I qualify for. If I don't get enough financial aid/grants or scholarships than I cannot attend school! Also, I have now heard that I could have done the same degree with another local school and payed a lot less!
Sorry, there are no reviews.
