College Prowler Take
Overall, most students are proud of the Duquesne campus. The University goes to great lengths to maintain its pleasant landscaping and tidy walkways. It offers some of the only plush, green lawns for miles, and many students take advantage of them during the warmer months for sunbathing or studying. The majority of the buildings are well-maintained and constantly updated throughout the year. The addition of the Power Center a new work-out facility and an in-door track was a much needed up grade. Students enjoy the basketball court, aerobic classes held, and individual TVs on each piece of cardio equipment. The facility has a ballroom where big meetings and events take place. A new, larger gym as well as weight rooms, indoor courts and studios for aerobics classes. Students will undoubtedly want to take advantage of the many events that Duquesne hosts throughout the school year. Popular bands and comedians frequent both the Union and AJ Palumbo Center. There are also some smaller, local musical acts at the Red Ring.

The school puts a lot of money into keeping the facilities up-to-date with the latest equipment and such. Students use the gym a lot. We just had new computers put in a few of our computer labs, and they’re improving the network. |

Famous people come in and talk, such as Harland Williams and Jamie Kennedy. The NiteSpot is a great place to hang out on the weekends, if you have nowhere else to go. There are games, big screen TVs, and free food! |
