Advice
- Students have a wealth of opportunities when it comes to finding local, national, or international jobs and internships. Although jobs are hard to come by in Pittsburgh—depending on what field, of course—Duquesne has a very good job-placement rate locally and outside of the city. The school is well known, and the quality of education is respected. Also, numerous job fairs come to Duquesne throughout the school year and summer with various employment opportunities. Keep good grades and do volunteer work. Beyond that, be sure to keep in contact with faculty members teaching in your area of study. They often know of many opportunities and are usually more than willing to help a student jump-start their career.

College Prowler is actively seeking talented students to be "Contributing Authors," and assist with updating
the College Prowler guide to their school. This is a great opportunity for a student to gain internship experience, be a part of a nationally
recognized company, gain tremendous exposure, utilize new media techniques, and share advice with high school students about what life is
really like at your college. Read more about the internship.
