Advice on Finding a Job/Internship Students have a wealth of opportunities when it comes to finding local, national, or international jobs and internships. Although jobs are hard to come by in Pittsburgh—depending on what field, of course—Duquesne has a very good job-placement rate locally and outside of the city. The school is well known, and the quality of education is respected. Also, numerous job fairs come to Duquesne throughout the school year and summer with various employment opportunities. Keep good grades and do volunteer work. Beyond that, be sure to keep in contact with faculty members teaching in your area of study. They often know of many opportunities and are usually more than willing to help a student jump-start their career.
