Duq is the only school in...

Duq is the only school in Pennsylvania that I would attend, and I’m glad I came. The people I have met are awesome, and the school is gorgeous and has an awesome reputation. It’s a little strict on some of the rules because it’s Catholic, but they are easy to get around.

I’ve had a great overall experience. I’ve met a lot of people, most being very nice. I’ve made many good friends here. The people who work here and run the campus are all friendly. Though, at times, I wish I were somewhere else—say, Hawaii!

I am glad that I chose Duquesne,...

I am glad that I chose Duquesne, and I am very satisfied with the education I am receiving. The money you pay for tuition is outrageously high, but it is well worth it. It’s a small campus, so you can leave your room about 5 or 10 minutes before your classes and have plenty of time to spare. I believe Duquesne is preparing me to take the boards and receive my pharmacy degree without a problem. I don’t know what you plan on majoring in, but if it is something to do with health care, Duquesne will prepare you with the proper background.

I really love it at Duquesne, but...

I really love it at Duquesne, but I think it depends on your major. I started as an education major, and their School of Education is really good. Now, I’m a physics major, and their science school is okay but not very personal. The campus is nice but small because it’s in the middle of the city, although on campus, you’d never know it (take a virtual tour at www.duq.edu). Duquesne has a great reputation, especially for the price. I’d recommend it, as long as you can stand a little snow in the winter.

My first year here, I wanted to transfer because I really missed my boyfriend. But I am glad that I stayed, because I feel that it is a very good school, and I have made some really good friends. It is also a very pretty campus. It sits up on a hill, so it’s kind of not in the city, but it is.
