College Prowler Take
If one chooses not to bring a car onto campus, which is advised, he or she has access to readily available, cheap, and convenient public transportation. The Port Authority runs buses throughout the city at regular intervals. Use the T to travel to Station Square and other southern points. Taxis are only a phone call away. For out-of-state residents or international students, Pittsburgh International is a very visitor-friendly airport located close to town. Duquesne students make continual use of public transportation. The buses run at regular intervals, providing quick transportation to and from off-campus jobs, housing, or parties. A new student should never miss his or her car, especially considering the parking situation.

Public transportation is very convenient, and the buses and the T (our subway system) go back and forth to most major places (different parts of the city, other colleges and universities, museums, stadiums, and so on). It’s also pretty inexpensive. |
