Earlham College Birding Big Day, started in 1982, has grown into a fun and successful fundraising event, raising nearly half a million dollars for
the College. Most donors pledge a declared sum for each bird species that Earlham students, faculty, and alumni identify in the Whitewater River Valley on a set day in May.
