  • While Earlham does not block Kazaa, Morpheus, eMule, or programs related to peer-to-peer file sharing, there is limited bandwidth available to each student, and downloading copyrighted materials is not permitted.
  • Sophos antivirus software is mandatory software for connection to the Earlham network. Students cannot connect to the network without the most recent Windows updates and Sophos software.
  • Earlham professors are expanding their use of a Web-based academic site called Moodle, used to post and collect assignments, distribute readings, upload useful online links, make PowerPoint presentations available, and plan or track progress over the semester.
  • The Lilly Library circulation desk provides laptops that can be checked out by students for use in the library.
  • Four new Dells were recently placed in Earlham Hall's main lobby for accessible, around-the-clock use.
