The dorms at East Carolina University can be very loud at night time, despite the "quite time" rules implemented by the RAs. Most of the rooms are of good size, considering they are dorms. Student athletes usually live in the College Hill neighborhood. Many students prefer to live in Central Campus because that's where the oldest dorms are. The West End neighborhood is convenient if you are interested in the social atmosphere downtown. In my experience, all the dorms have been clean and safe.
