Greenville, NC is a medium size town with plenty of shopping venues. There's a Krispy Kreme doughnut shop right off campus and some nice shops and clubs within walking distance. The campus is located on the fringe of downtown so traffic can be crazy. There are some pretty shady neighborhoods close by so it wouldn't be safe to venture too far from campus alone or at night. There isn't much to do besides shop but the people are very accommodating to the students and staff and the local attitude seems to be favorable.
