Wrong. They only cost about $800 freshman year, then $600 all other years, which is nothing compared to UK or UofL.

Greek life at EKU is very active. During any given week, you can see at least one or two Greek organizations at Powell Corner sponsoring an activity or fundraiser. They host different events on campus and have their own activities as well. These include Greek Week, Greek Sing, Step-Dancing, philanthropic events, etc. Members of a Greek organization can live in the Greek towers,—Todd Hall for men and Dupree Hall for women. These are two tall buildings in the center of campus, just steps from Powell Cafeteria, Student Services Building, Alumni Coliseum, and Weaver Gym.

While a lot of students support Greek life, the majority of students view them as snobby and cliquey. It is relatively easy to join a Greek organization on campus, and there are a wide variety of chapters to choose from. However, students agree that you are not treated any differently if you decide that Greek life is not for you.
