The Campus Police are always driving around campus and they have a non tolerance policy for violence.

My school is pretty strict with its rules about drinking and the use of drugs on campus. If you are caught the first time they give you a warning, the second time you have a meeting with the dean, and the third there is a possibility you could get kicked out of the school. Since it is a Christian based school there rules line up with their beliefs. They do try to get students involved in the various activities they have around the campus to keep the students out of trouble, but sometimes it gets boring to be on campus. My advice would be to keep yourself occupied and if you do get bored try to get off campus and do something fun.

This is a Christian school so the rules towards drinking is taken very serious but there is a lack of support with addictions. I disagree with the requirement of attending chapel about 20 times each semester and student with different religions do not have an opinion of nothing attending.

I understand that this is a Christian campus but sometimes I feel like I have more of a babysitter than I do guidance. Seriously, I should be trusted to stay in a guys room during the day hours and I feel like a lot of the authority expects the worst out of students sometimes. But it does help to keep the trouble down, I just wish I had more freedom at times.

More Than Usual – There are more rules and guidelines that students are expected to follow here, mainly because it is a private Christian school. Drinking, drugs, and sexual relations are not tolerated here, and therefore students can become upset and find ways around the system. On the flip side, these rules are set in place for our own protection and well-being. I think it all depends on how students choose to view them.
