Eastern Always Has Events, but Downtown Spokane Is Also Only 20 Minutes Away.

There are always a lot of activities going on at Eastern. There are tons of clubs to join, events to go to, and there is always something going on outside when it's warm! It is nice to be in a small, beautiful town away from the rest of the world but close enough to drive into a big city and go shopping or have fun with different activities downtown.

Nice People, but Live in a Fariy-Tale World

The people at the school are great. However, there are a lot of people who have their parents paying for classes or the government, and they don't value learning. They seem like they don't even want to be here. Don't get me wrong, parents and government or any kind of help through school is great, and I wish I had any kind of help like that, but valuing school and wanting to make a difference is something you have to achieve in yourself. No one else can help you to find yourself. People at this school are very nice, but they seem to not understand the "real world." They need to experience life on their own so they value what they are doing and value the great privalages school has.

Small Town

Cheney is a small town where all of the students and staff respect each other. One day there will spread so much happiness. You can walk into the cafeteria and get what you need and the ladies at the counter always make sure you are having a good day and make sure that you will or the rest. There are also buttons on the street corners that if pushed, an alarms sounds making the whole environment safe at night.
