Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

If you’re going out on the town, you’ll never go hungry, but you may go broke! There are so many good place to eat in St. Pete and nearby Tampa—whether it’s Ethiopian or fresh sushi, you’ll find almost any type of cuisine you’re looking for. The best places to look are downtown or on the beach, but really there are great little finds hidden everywhere. From fresh seafood on the beach to authentic Vietnamese food, there’s really nothing St. Pete doesn’t cover, except for Turkish food, for which you may have to go 20 minutes to Tampa.

Several places also deliver to campus or are close enough to Eckerd that ordering food to go and picking it up is no hassle. This includes your standard pizza chains, as well as an original pizza place, Chinese, Italian, and sushi. There are always plenty of options.

Cheap and Eclectic

There are many fast-food restaurants around, and there are also less known cheap chains. The food is not bad, and it's cheap, so I can't complain too much. It would be nice to see some more casual dining in the area though- for those looking to take someone on a date.
