Elizabethtown is a pretty standard suburban community. Market Street, the main street in town, has a lot of cute small businesses.

The town around the college is a quiet and peaceful place where you can easily walk down the street on a nice day.

Very beautiful campus and a nice little town that is very friendly with the college but unfortunately its very small and there is not much in terms of cultural relevance or excitement.

Elizabethtown College is a small town. Everyone on campus is friendly and can answer and questions if asked. I once lost my phone and was told not to panic because everything always gets returned to the owner; and sure enough someone droped it off to me before the end of the day. Because the college is located in Pennsylvania the Lanchaster Mall and York Center is not to far. As far as campus there is never a dull week. Movies play every week on campus for free, free zumba work outs, as well as registered comedians are welcomed to perform on campus for us. I would say is a fairly quiet town with lots to do if you know where to look.

Small Town Near Good Cities - Harrisburg and Lancaster – Etown is a small central PA town. There are some things in walking distance like small shops, coffee places, a two or three bars, and a Ritas, but otherwise you need a car to get to Harrisburg, Lancaster, or other towns where there is more stuff going on. The Etown Fair in the summer and some of the parades and festivals are fun. There is enough going on on campus to keep you occupied along with stuff in Lancaster and Harrisburg.
Philly, Baltimore, and DC are less than two hours away.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
