Elmira College really allows students to flourish. You can most likely attain every one of your college goals while attending Elmira. If you want to be a leader in government, you can start by getting involved with the student government. If you want to become a sports star, there are plenty of opportunities to train. If you want to become a great writer, you can work alongside the Octagon newspaper and The Sibyl literary magazine. If you have the motivation, you can basically do anything at Elmira. Ambitious individuals are rewarded and recognized for their efforts. More importantly, the type of person that attends Elmira is a decent, caring, fun-loving, and spirited individual. The friendships that are forged add so much to the experience, and meeting others who have the same drive is incredibly rewarding. The faculty, administrators, and staff make sure you are having the kind of experience that you wanted to have. The president of the College goes out of his way to get to know a majority of the students, which is rare at other colleges.

Elmira College offers programs that are unique to this campus. The Freshman Writing Program really teaches students how to write an amazing essay and gives you the ability to succeed in all of your other classes. The Encore program broadens students' cultural experiences through music, dance, and performing arts. Freshmen and sophomores attend eight performances a term to gain appreciation for classical and contemporary art. Overall, Elmira College wants to make its four years with students the best years of their lives, so the College is very thoughtful in its planning. Senior Week is especially designed to bring the graduating class together and make memories that last a lifetime.

I Guess the Guys Are Attractive

The guys I have met on campus seem friendly and willing to help answer questions, so, in my opinion, they are genuinely well-mannered and also very athletic. The girls on campus and around town seem to think they're attractive, therefore, they must be.
