College Prowler Take
All of the facilities are new and state-of-the-art. For those into sports and fitness, we have two gyms, an indoor pool, and three aerobic studios, as well as soccer, baseball, and football fields. Our fitness center has both cardiovascular equipment and free weights. The school also offers 21 intramural sports and 21 club sports. Our student center is beautiful—the marble floors, Elon spirit clothes and souvenirs, and the advertisements for cultural events and clubs all add to the feeling that there’s something for everyone. Elon offers many programs in performing arts, and so, in turn, we have quite an extensive theatre. McCrary Theatre, the largest, is where most of the musicals are held. Then there’s the Yeager Recital Hall, Whitley Auditorium, and the Black Box Theatre, which are all well-kept and provide plenty of room for different types of performances and lectures on campus. The Koury Business Center is beautiful with three floors and a finance center that simulates a real stock trading room, with plasma screens to deliver cable financial news and an electronic stock crawl that provides the latest data from global financial markets. The McMichael Science Center is completely state-of-the-art with four floors of opportunity in the sciences, including a cadaver lab.
