Most students are thrilled with Emerson. From the professors to the production equipment to the classes, many students feel they’re being well-prepared for the real world. At Emerson, students have more internship opportunities, well-known industry professionals as professors, and quality classes than many larger schools. Since Emerson students come with fervor to learn their trade, they end up bolstering each other in workshops and projects. Some students gripe about the long lines and difficulty dealing with the administrative aspects at Emerson, such as the financial aid office and the registrar. These experiences can obscure the positive parts of the educational experience, but most students agree that something very exciting and positive is going on at Emerson, and there are a lot of resources to take advantage of.
Emerson students are matchless in their excitement to learn, create, and get involved in activities that will better them academically and in character. Though it’s common to boo-hoo about the unpredictable weather, the dismal parking and driving situation, and early curfews in Boston, most Emerson students love their temporary home. The chances to work with award-winning faculty are one of a kind, as are the students. Emerson isn’t perfect, but it is a fantastic place for students who are willing to learn and work hard for what they care about. Your time spent at Emerson will certainly not be easily forgotten.
