There are only a few fraternities and sororities on campus and they aren't very prevalent at all, but they do have parties occasionally.

The greek life exists at emerson, but is not in your face and you will not be looked at differently for not participating in it.

there are really only two functioning, typical sororities and fraternities.

That is not true, there are three sororities, three all-male fraternities, and one co-ed fraternity.
