The network of Alumni is extensive. The alumni are very involved in Emmaus.

The emphasis on the Bible is the most important thing. Emmaus certainly hits that on the head.
College Sophomore 2013-11-25T19:40:31Z
The professors are very knowledgeable in the Bible, and they are happy to pour into students lives.

The work is fair, and the advisers are very understanding.

I would choose Emmaus all over again, given the opportunity.

I have never had a problem finding a computer or printer when I needed one.

Emmaus Bible College is a very diverse school. It makes it an even more excellent place to learn.

It is a very small school (about 300), but the academics are first rate! The elementary education program was called a hidden jewel by the state when they came to renew accreditation. They have the unique Bible focus in all the major and gen. ed. classes not just the Bible ones.

The jewel of the campus is the library. It is well stocked with any books you might need to complete your project. There are two gyms; the main gym has recently received a new wood floor. The student center is a fun and comfortable place to hang out as well as the lounges on the dorm floors.

The network did have some problems, however, they were looked into and fixed. The computer lab is great. The entire school is wireless compatible. A personal computer would be very useful, but is not absolutely necessary.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Worth the Cost – For a private college, the cost of attendance is very reasonable, and you receive a quality education. Be sure to go to their website and look for scholarships that would apply to you.

The students body is a mix of traditional students and adult students. A few students come from Mexico and a few other foreign countries. The student body as whole is very friendly and encouraging.

Very high quality program and classes. The teachers take the time to present information thoroughly. Classes are intensive and working is not recommended, but you will be well prepared.

All the professors take an interest in the students. Classes are high quality.

Emmaus does not have the funds that other schools have to spend on expencive campus resources. They have one of the most unique libraries in the US however it is small. The athletic center has two gyms and everything that you need but not added uneeded equipment

There is not a very strong post-grad progam at emmaus. However because the people at the school care about the students so much they will use there personal time to help you suceed after graduation. The love and care that the teachurs have to see you suceed is unlike any other school

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I have not had very much interaction with the financial aid. However I think this was because they were so helpful explaining everything that I need to do. This way I never had to go back and constantly ask questions

Emmaus student body is great! The school is small so everyone knows everybody and they actually care about each other enough to spend time geting to know each and every student. I have grown up around small christian groups but this schools student body really shows christ threw there love of other students

Like a Big Family – Emmaus Bible College is a small school, but that makes it easier to make friends and to get to know everyone at the school. It is very easy to have close friends and be friends with close to everyone in the school.

Very Straightforward – I recently switched majors and my academic adviser met with the Dean of Academic Affairs to try and get as many of my old credits to transfer to my new major. They were able to get a few class credits to transfer, but naturally some others did not. They did everything they could to get as many credits possible to transfer.
College Senior 2012-01-23T22:51:49Z
Helpful Transfers – The only credits that didn't transfer were ones that had nothing to do with my degree. The Emmaus staff were very helpful in guiding me as to which classes I should take my last semester at the community college so I could transfer them the following semester to Emmaus. They went above and beyond the call of duty to help me.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
A Cost/Benefit Analysis – Going to Emmaus, for me, is expensive compared with going to the local university. The value I am receiving for the tuition paid, however, is phenomenal. If God provides the finances, it is totally worth coming to Emmaus for the excellent academic education, taught from a solidly Biblical, Christian perspective.
College Senior 2012-01-23T22:46:19Z
The Emmaus Environment – Pretty much the only thing I don't like about Emmaus is that it is so far from home. I love it that it is small (only about 250 students), creating a warm sense of community and family. I love being able to look up to my professors as Christians who practice what they preach and care about us as individuals, even inviting us into their homes sometimes. Emmaus is the kind of school that attracts people who are unashamed of Christ.

Emmaus Classes Online – Because Emmaus is only a school of 250 students (which is wonderful!) - they are unable to offer online classes for credit. However, many of their classes are recorded and are on their website for free! Although they do not go towards a degree, they are available for anyone to view.

Like a Family – I love my school. It fit perfectly everything that I was looking for. It is large enough to have the major that I want, but with about 300 students, it is small enough to have a close knit family feel.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
