Not Academically Flexible..

The students are segregated by their classes and don't socialize with others.. I've tried but most of the time I'm ignored. The I'm just here to try and get a better than minimum wage job and that's all attitude is prevalent. And disheartening.

My school is located in a shopping plaza that seems a little rundown. Which means lack of space and it's creepy walking to your car at night near such a busy road and gas station.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The education I'm receiving is decent ... I just wish I would have qualifies for financial aid or a grant .... I'm a full time student And due to medical problems I'm not supposed to work and go to school. Which makes a difficult time trying to find a way to pay for all the expenses including both of my student loans.. Honestly the drama within the falculty ,lack of hands on lab time and lack of professionalism should qualify me to only have to pay half the tuition. It's sad if you ask me.

Everest is pretty good about getting all students registered on time and have their schedules in their access before the semester starts.

The online experience is great I love it. The work load is not to bad its enough for me to handle while working full time, mother full time and school full time. I can work at my own pace and get good grades. I do not have to attend a classroom on ground 3-4 days out the week. I still have a life by taking online courses I just love it!

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I knew college would be expensive. It is definitely worth the money though. Everest has smaller classes and I get that one on one time with my instructor so I really know what I am doing. I had a previous student loan at Brevard Community College so I had to start paying on my loan while attending college but that is not Everest's fault. They were very helpful in telling my options in Financial Aid!

Career services at Everest is awesome! They don't only help with you with getting a job. They helped me find places that I can volunteer at. Also they help you with other problems you have. I had to get my record expunged and Susan from career services helped me get it done!

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Again it is costly especially the book fees, tuition seems kind of high too.

There are no Athletic centers at the campus that I am attending.

From what I have witnessed so far, everyone is career and goal oriented. Friendly but totally focused on their goals.

The Desire to Make a Difference in Life. There is unity in diversity. One finds a lot of students with different background but the willingness to learn and blend in this diversity is amazing.I am overwhelmed by the level of acceptance as an African from Ghana,in a different educational environment in Everest.Student as well as insructers are great.

Most Are Preparing for New Careers – Most, if not all of the students, are preparing for new or alternate career goals to improve their lifestyles, seek a more enjoyable type of employment, or to improve their financial status. The university allows students to attend either morning or evening classes to allow them to attain their education and training, while many are employed at another vocation.

There are 2 campuses, each with a student lounge. On the main campus there is a library. Each campus also has a computer lounge. That's it. Nothing else.

Everest - Flexibility – I don't know about the other programs, but the pharmacy tech degree was really frustrating to schedule classes. We only had one teacher for our program and even though she offered to teach more classes, some of our necessary classes were put off. A lot of my classmates, including me, had to have our graduation dates pushed back because we either couldn't make it to that class (because of work or kids etc) or it wasn't offered at all that semester.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
