Dining Hall Food Is Atrocious but Flaming Eggplant Cafe Brings Hope.

Ever since Evergreen signed a contract with distribution giant, Aramark the food in the Greenery (dining hall) has been subpar to down right disgusting. However recently students finally managed to start The Flaming Eggplant Cafe, a vegetarian and vegan friendly eatery completely student operated. It's a little pricey but then so is a lot of the food on campus to begin with. Despite that fact, the Eggplant's food is totally worth it.

This Is Currently None and Will Probably Never Be a Greek System

Evergreen has had a long tradition of no football team and thus no greek system. The idea is that Greek systems reinforce hierarchal prejudice and dangerous traditions like hazing. There is a strong enough community at Evergreen without Greek systems. Alternatively there are many Co-Ops that are very welcoming and family like.

Adequate but Some Room for Improvement

The comp lab on campus has a mix of PC and Mac it is crowded a lot during lunch hours and of course during finals but empty during class times and late at night. For the most part it is pretty reliable but every once and a while the printers will malfunction. The wireless speed in the dorms however is abysmal. On upper campus however the wireless speed is just fine.
