FIDM helps students build connections and land jobs and internships during schooling—and even after obtaining a degree. The Career Center is a terrific place for new students to start and for alumni to stay connected. Even if you don't want to work during your first quarter, it's still a good idea to go the Career Center, meet the career advisors for your major, and get an overview of what's available. You'll find that FIDM really encourages students to work while they're studying, so they can apply what they're learning as soon as possible. The CC also helps students with their resumes, interview skills, and everything else they need to successfully "sell" themselves to an employer.
The future employment of alumni varies, just because of all the different majors FIDM offers. There are many career positions that most students have never even heard of in fashion or interior design or any other major. And these opportunities are in the business side of the industry, as much as the design side. They can range from business owner, designer, stylist, buyer, merchandiser, and even product developer. It may sound cliché, but the possibilities are endless.

Career Center
Fidm has an amazing career center. They do things from formatting and helping with your resume, set up internships, prospective jobs, etc. They continue this even after you graduate so it is excellent for Alumni as well or so I have heard.

Every time I have ever been to FIDM's career center, the career advisors are jumping into my life and trying to figure out what I am looking for and the besy way to help me get it.

Great!
Almost 90% of students have found employment within six months of graduating. However, if you need a little help, the have a career center that will assist you in finding a job.
