Typical Peers
The uniqueness of the FIDM student body is one of the best things about campus. There are tons of different styles, backgrounds, religious affiliations, interests, etc, but student love for art, design, and business brings everyone together. Students often bond through having classes or majors together, or through similar tastes in fashion, music, or even geography (where a student might be from in the country or internationally).
Student Organizations
There are a large number of different student organizations and clubs a student can get involved in. They include: international culture interest groups, a knitting club, Student Council, the American Society of Interior Designers, the Fashion Group International of Los Angeles, business societies, and Set Decorators Society of America. Most clubs are open to any currently enrolled student, and one can become an active member by attending weekly meetings and monthly events.
Phi Theta Kappa, FIDM's honor society, has a GPA requirement, but most are open to anyone.
