Widely Accepted

There are students from all over the world and country here at FIT. I have friends from across the country, and even across the world, race doesn't play a factor here at this school.

You'll Always Be Busy

Apart from always being busy with school, NYC allows you to be out and about any day of the week. To get groceries or go clothes shopping, its like at most a 20 minute walk. There are so many people around you are most likely always safe, you just have to be smart about it. If you don't put yourself in a dangerous situation then you will be perfectly fine.

With sports, if you're a girl and you like volleyball, track, or soccer you're in luck because we have some pretty good teams. Dance is also pretty popular, and our dance team always does a really nice showcase.

If you're not into going out all of the time (which can be difficult if you're under 21), FIT always has a TON of events going on. Be sure to always check the flyers that are around because they will let you know what's going on around school.

Don't be discouraged by there not being a lot of guys or it being a "regular" college experience. You go to FIT because you want to succeed in your job, so don't expect to always slack off because it won't work.

Amazing Deli Between 55Th and 56Th on 7Ave

Well first of all, all the restaurants, coffee shops and deli's around FIT give FIT students a 10% discount which is great if you wanna get a coffee at Dunkin Donuts. Columbus circle is definitely a good place to hang out and it has lot of great restaurants and deli's around it. There is a small deli 2 blocks aways from columbus circle which has the most amazing pasta, fresh maid and you can choose the mix of the toppings and everything. the prices are totally affordable and great for students! It also has a big variety of sandwiches to paninis over to pastries.yummy and cheap!
