As it is at any college, the FIT campus is very strict about drug use. Those involved keep it on the down low. There are potentially high risks for getting caught with drugs at FIT, especially for those that live in the dorms. Those caught using drugs are subject to academic probation and can possibly be kicked out of the residence halls. Thus, because of the consequences, many students choose to abstain from drug use and abuse. In addition, there's no pressure to partake for those who wish to stay out of the drug scene.

While the vast metropolis of New York City might make it seem like drugs would be easy to find, because FIT is so strict about the issue, finding drugs on campus can be a difficult task.

You Don't Have to Look Very Hard

chances are if you live in the dorms you can find drugs, if you want them. you only really get caught if you are blatantly obvious about drug use.

VERY STRICT SCHOOL

The school is a completely dry campus. If you come home drunk (puking or even stumbling) they will send you to the hospital. If they find alcohol or even alcohol pariphanielia (wine glasses, shot glasses, ect.) they write you up and I believe you loose overnight visitation for the year and maybe not allowed to dorm ever again. Same goes for drugs

There will always be drugs available but I wouldnt want to take the chance.
