Finding drugs on the FIT campus can be a hard task. Since the school is strict about drug use, anyone that is involved with them keeps it quiet. Those who admit to usage tend to pick marijuana as the drug of choice. The only students that have real issues with the strict drug rules at FIT are the ones who live in the dorms. If they are involved with drugs, they have to hide it. The rest who commute are free to do whatever their hearts desire.
The stakes for getting caught with drugs at FIT are potentially high. Dorm residents caught using drugs are subject to academic probation and can, in some cases, be kicked out of the dormitory. Yet, some students seem to hold little regard for these possible consequences and find a way to get around them. But basically, if you want a drug scene, you can find it. If you wanna stay sober, there’s no pressure not to.
