Advice on Finding a Job/Internship
  • FIT holds several career days throughout the school year in which industry professionals will come to the school in search of new employees.
  • FIT makes it very easy to find a job or internship, but you have to stay dedicated. FIT has its own Career Services center, which provides students access to an online job bank. Since FIT produces highly qualified individuals, many businesses will directly go through FIT for new hires.
  • Outside of FIT, there are other options in finding a job or potential internship. Be sure to network and get your name out there. This can be done by volunteering at Fashion Week events or even establishing relationships with professors at FIT.
Did You Know? Students can be eligible for Federal Work Study, a form of financial aid, that allows students to have on-campus jobs and get paid.
