College Prowler Take
A majority of students at FIT are in agreement that they are receiving a quality education at a fair price in the best city. Most of the teachers have extensive knowledge of their industries and offer their students real-world experiences. Students here are given the chance to expand outside of the classroom with internships, study abroad, and over 70 clubs and organizations. The students that do have a negative view of the college tend to be the ones who are uninvolved and unsure of their career goals. Even with the lack of a social scene, a real campus, and the overwhelming amount of girls, students still love it here. They forget about these aspects and tend to say they would never have experienced the same cultures and opportunities as they have at FIT. You can live your dream here. If you stay focused and work hard, you will inevitably develop skills and confidence that will lead you to a successful career. Students Speak Out

I love FIT and my classes, I love...
I love FIT and my classes, I love the friends I’ve made, and I love how much I have grown since living in Manhattan. You definitely step back and realize how much there is out there, and you realize that you have to do everything you can to seize every opportunity this great city has to offer. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. I do love being home, but NYC has a way to revitalize me and make me work to my fullest potential. NYC is one of the most competitive places, and FIT is helping me have an edge in the field I wish to conquer. |

FIT, overall, is a great school in a prime location, which provides one with the opportunity to grow, explore, and take advantage of being in the city. The school has an eclectic group of individuals who attend, teach, and run the college. |

I love FIT. There is one big...
I love FIT. There is one big frustration I do have with the school, though. Dealing with all the different offices, such as bursar and registrar, can become frustrating. The offices don’t really know what the others ones are doing, so they send you on wild goose chases, and nine times out of ten, you end up back where you started. Besides that, there is so much here to get involved with and to experience. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. |

I will remember FIT as the best experience of my life. What I loved about FIT is the fashion and creative atmosphere created by the faculty and students. FIT is very professional, technical, and competitive at the same time, though. |
