The weather in New York is always a huge topic in conversations. People who live here have learned that they must check the weather forecast before they leave home, because sometimes, just looking outside can be deceiving. Usually, it’s humid in the summer, cool in the fall, blistering cold in the winter, and enjoyable in the spring. FIT students must have a diverse wardrobe and should be prepared for any type of weather.
On the days when the weather is nice, FIT students can be found hanging outside of school all over the campus. You will notice fewer students in class and more roaming around the city instead. But once the weather gets cold, students take refuge inside and complain habitually about the coldness.

Bring all types of clothes and shoes if you are moving to New York City. The weather here is unpredictable. Definitely learn to watch the Weather Channel every night. |
