Advice on Finding a Job/Internship The Career Center is always available to assist students with their career planning, and professors also do a good job of keeping students informed about internships or job opportunities in their career field. But while the Career Center staff and FAMU faculty can lead students in the right direction and help them with applications, it’s really up to each student to go the extra mile. Many students have to complete an internship before they graduate, and the best advice is to get your foot in the door, stand out amongst your peers, and have drive and determination, as well as a passion for your future career.
