Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

There are plenty of apartments within close proximity to the University, and the rental process is very easy. Many apartments require a guarantor to also sign the lease, but not all do. Prices vary but most traditional apartments and townhomes range from $300 to $600. Many students say the price of rent is definitely worth the extra freedom, space, and privacy they get, and many live with friends to split the bills, so the cost isn’t horrible.

The availability of off-campus is excellent. Tallahassee is a college town through and through and offers a high number of living options for all the students who call the city home during the school year. The quality of the apartments varies, but most come furnished; students can request unfurnished apartments if they have furniture of their own. Lots of students enjoy living off campus, but it’s recommended that freshmen live on campus for their first year so they can enjoy the campus lifestyle.

Tallahassee was very College Student friendly. I had no problems finding housing just wish I would done it my Sophomore year to have the full experience. Therefore, other then that my stay was very pleasure and rewarding.

No Opinion

I can't give a reasonable summary or opinion of the off-housing lifestyle because I am still a freshmen and still required to live on campus.

With a College Campus Comes PLENTY of Apartments.

There are many apartments surrounding the school but the environment nearest to the campus is not the safest. Comparatively the prices are reasonable but you would find safer housing further away from the campus.
