Best Ways to Get to the Airport Ride with a friend

Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

If you're planning on heading off campus often, a car is a must-have. The local bus does make stops throughout campus, but it's not too reliable or consistent. The Tri-Rail station is close by, but you have to either get a ride or catch the bus to get there. If none of these are possibilities, then your best bet is to catch a ride with a friend.

Night Owls Is the Best

Buses during the day travel around campus on a 20 minute schedule. From 6-11pm we have Night Owls. You call a number and they will pick you up on campus and drive you to anywhere on campus. A train station is a few miles away and 2 airports are within 30 mins of campus.

Ehh...

Tri-Rail is close, but sometimes inconvenient, but does a great job in getting you from West Palm down to Miami. Public Transit needs work but does go directly to school. Parking is an issue, FAU is a large commuter school. On campus shuttle is good, but I think they should work on a shuttle that goes from Tri-Rail to School, this would be more convenient and increase tri-rail ridership to school too.
