For the most part, Boca Raton weather is hot and balmy—so bring your tank tops, flip-flops, and short-shorts. However, the South Florida area is also susceptible to tropical storms and hurricanes, so students should also be prepared for that extreme. Rain coats, umbrellas, and rain boots are encouraged (although sometimes they won't do much to protect you when the weather gets really bad with strong winds and floods).

Hot and Humid

Typical South Florida weather, it's always hot and humid and rains a lot during the Spring and Fall but only for short amounts of time. People are outside doing things all the time, tanning on the balconies of dorms, swimming in the pool, or going to the beach.

The weather is wonderful, especially since the beach is aboout 15-20 minutes away from campus which is great during 2 hour breaks. The weather around the actual campus is nice also.
