Boca Raton is not a college town.. outside of Fast food, and pizza hut and dominos everything else is pretty expensive like J.J. McCormicks and other up-scale restaurants

Living on Campus

I have been living on campus for three years and am anxiously awaiting the moment I can leave this dreaded housing forever. It is not that the housing itself is bad (the buildings, rooms, locations, etc)... the problem lies with the Resident Association/Assistants. They are lazy, inconsiderate, selfish people. They do not care about the quality of your stay in the dorms they just take care of themselves and nothing else. Most recent example, some stupid person for whatever reason spilled/poured tons of rice down the only stairway in the oldest building Algonquin and people have been slipping, tracking it everywhere, injuring themselves for two days. Multiple people have complained and asked for someone to clean it up so we can stop slipping up and down the stairs. They told us that maintenance would do it in the morning yesterday and the RA's blew us off. (this is one of many complaints) Who wants to live with people who don't give two s**** about you?

No Greek Housing.

The Sororities are stupid and pretentious! Especially considering they do not have any housing and are forced to do everything in class rooms or other meeting areas on campus. They are stupid and try to have socials at night clubs and end up having half of the people kicked out for being underage! The frat parties are better though but not much... I do not think all greek life is a joke but here it truly is "buying your friends."
