Last year the computers were very slow! This year I have seen an improvement due to a large number of complaints and the computer labs are usually not packed since most students have their own computers. Some times are more crowded than others.

We have a mixture of African-Americans, Hispanics, Caucasian, and few Asians. Predominantly Caucasian so I feel like we have lots of room for improvement. It's definitely getting more diverse as the years go by however.

I do plan to have an internship because I believe that it is very important to experience what you maybe getting into. You never know, the dream job that you planned out may come out to be a flop or you may find something related to the job that you enjoy much more. There is nothing like experience to help decide what you want to do with your life.

Great and loving school. Teachers and administration are willing to talk help with your decisions and the communication degree is great. Some students may not like the infringing curfew time but it is a great time to bond with fellow students! You probably will have friends for a lifetime along with teachers that teach memorable classes.

Parking at Florida College all very easy, even if a little aggravating. You see, parking is assigned for everyone who lives on campus, and it's never too long a walk to even the worst spots. They're assigned on a first come first serve basis, and they all cost the same: $75 for a full year, or $50 for a semester. If you live off campus, you get the spots that are closest to the classes (on-campus students just walk, since everything is so close), and even those are typically assigned.

It's really the main fault to be found at Florida College, that the weather is very hot for everything but maybe two months during the winter. The humidity is really high, and it makes exercising outside unpleasant. And to be very involved with the societies (our version of fraternities, etc.) requires a lot of time spent outside. But for that little while in February and March, it's actually very nice, and people spend time outside willingly.

The computer labs at Florida College are useful mainly for printing documents, and work well for that. They are typically painfully slow for anything much more than that. You definitely need your own computer at school, for written assignments and online assignments (which are part of most classes). The WiFi works well for the most part, and covers most of the campus.

I have only stayed on campus. Florida college requires you to be 21 or married to live of campus unless you live with parents.

Health & Safety:
I only feel unsafe on Florida College's campus when walking alone at night. Otherwise, I feel very safe on campus. Florida College is small and strict about who is in the dorms. Florida college doesn't allow drinking on their campus, so any issues with drunken students disturbing the peace is eliminated. Florida college also does not allow any weapons on campus.

Florida college does well to enforce their anti drug policies. In my time at this school, I have only encountered one student who used drugs. However, this student was not violent but instead rather successful at the college. Drinking, smoking, and drugs all involve very strong punishment. Students who engage in these activities are usually expelled. Florida college takes any form of substance abuse very seriously.

I am a sophomore and do not have enough credits yet to get into a bachelor's program, but so far I am set to go once I have the credits. There are not many questions asked, only help getting into it.

Well, the dorms have a curfew, so most of the "partying" goes on in the dorms after curfew. Homework also starts then for some people. No drugs or alcohol.

We have a lot of diversity but there is a large group from Texas but that is okay. I remember meeting someone from Egypt we call him Tati. lots of different people around the US. We so have a girl from Romania. No one is racist that I know of. More girls than boys which is awesome for me. We almost all Christians and we meet for Chapel every weekday at 10:15

It can be very peaceful and no one is drunk or wasted to worry about. We are almost like brothers with the whole dorm. I can sleep whenever I want and not having someone trying to mess with me. we have dorm parents who are like our parents. sometimes if we need to we help each other with problems of all kinds. We do not go to clubs because of the bad atmosphere is a bad influence. No underage nightlife.

I graduated from FCIM, which is the luckiest thing I did in my life. I learned so much knowledge from the school for Oriental medicine, TCM, western medicine, plus a lot of clinical experience. They have the best academic schedule and most excellent experienced teachers, they have been working so hard to let each student learn as much as they could.

I have no complaints, but only complements for all their hard work. They trained the best oriental doctors here to enhance the medical Heath care in the society. I agree it is not easy to learn the TCM , which is 5000 years ancient medicine from China. You must make your effort and follow schools instruction to study hard and you will become success, or you may fall behind and complain this is the school's fault.

The FCIM clinic is very organized, clean, and always has supervised clinical training for students, that is how can you learn your skill in this medicine. They require that you must accomplish certain clinical hours for graduate, and FCIM is very responsible to the students. The Library has tons of books you can borrow, they always update to the new books, and the computers have just been upgraded.
You do what is best for you to get trained and become successful, and thank your school who gives you a new life. Be appreciative.

Going into this particular program, I thought it was going to be easy because it is the subject that I love the most. It is easy for me but I have to constantly be on my game because my professor likes to switch things up at last minute. I love not having power point because I feel I pay attention more by him just lecturing.
College Senior 2013-06-15T16:53:54Z
The process of enrolling into my program was simple, I just enrolled. However, the criteria proved that I have to be dedicated and have leadership skills. There are not any abnormal application process except for the fact you tell your adviser what you want.

As a Psychology/ Counseling major, I plan to intern at a local school during my grad years in hopes of gaining more information for the field I am going into. The pay may not be there, but in the long run it will gradually grow. My responsibilities will include helping file paperwork and talking to students as well.
College Sophomore 2013-06-04T02:54:38Z
There is no pressure at all to do drugs. Since we are a Christian school, if you are found with drugs, you are kicked out. The same is to be said about drinking.
College Sophomore 2013-06-04T02:50:01Z
Since Florida College is a private school, it was extremely hard to get scholarships. I got a scholarship through the band program but it barely makes a dent in my tuition expenses. I am going outside of FC to get a scholarship(s).
College Sophomore 2013-06-04T02:47:41Z
Since FC is a Christian school, going to clubs and bars isn't really our thing.. We have other places that people love to go to like Chick-fil-a on Friday nights, movies, Boing, and all about puppies.

There is basically one apartment complex that most people live in that is cheaper than on-campus housing, but there are others complexes that people live in that are the same price as on campus housing.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
