Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

The campus is spread out, but it's not large, so there are no Greek houses. Unless you see students wearing Greek life T-shirts or at tables for the sororities and fraternities, there is not much information about them. Many students only see Greek students when they are at tables on campus doing charity work. Most students are either for or against Greek life. There is no happy medium when it comes to fraternities and sororities.

On the plus side, Greek life can be a great way to make friends, meet new people, and have great experiences; in addition, it can be good for networking. However, Greek life is not that affordable. It would be nice if they had less expensive sororities and fraternities. It seems as though all the sororities and fraternities do are social events.

Greek Life Runs FGCU

If you aren't in a fraternity or sorority at FGCU, there's pretty much nothing else to do. All the events and parties on campus revolve around Greek Life.

Greek Housing

Greeks do not have specific housing on campus. Therefore, all parties occur off-campus at a member's house, and all chapter meetings are held on campus, usually on Sunday nights at FGCU.

Greek Life: ALL THE WAY

Greek life is great at FGCU. Although I am not apart of a sorority, I have some friends who are. There are a variety of sororities and fraternities to choose from that will best fit your personality. Greek life is known for partying and other social events. One important thing about Greek life is to make sure you are sure which ever sorority or fraternity you choose is right for you. If you are a person who enjoys partying a lot, Greek life at FGCU may be for you.
