Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

When asked about campus security, some students said they would like to see more security or more of a security presence on campus. Those who live off campus are often concerned about walking back to their cars at night. There are not many emergency call-boxes on the way to or in the parking places. Some students will call someone on their cell phone, just so they have someone to talk to on the way back to their car.

All in all, though, security is present; it could just be a little more present. The main campus buildings and the parking garages can be a little scary at night. There are some emergency call-boxes, but there could be more.

Safe School

Small campus, beautiful and lit. Most classes let out 9 at the latest and if you want. you can have a campus UPD officer escort you to your parking garage! The wild animals are more of a threat than anything , but they are too scared to act!

I feel generally safe when I'm walking across campus. If I need to I can hit an Emergency button located all around the campus and have someone walk me back to my car, or dorm when it's dark and if I don't feel safe.
