I received financial aid but it took so long for it to be put into my account. I have to buy books and pay for other school necessities, and my financial aid money still hasn't shown up.

Advice on Financial Aid

If you are applying for a loan, grant, or scholarship, you have to be at the financial aid office every day. Let them know who you are and that you are serious about this going through. If you don't haggle them about your status, then it will take forever. And always be there first thing in the morning or you will wait forever.
