Totally Safe

I have never felt unsafe at Florida International University. Their are always security wondering around campus willing to help anybody on campus whenever necessary. Keeping watch of your own personal items is a way to avoid immature crimes.

Safety

I have always felt safe whenever I am in campus. I know exactly where the campus police station is, and have been strongly encouraged to have their number on my cell phone. Therefore whenever I am walking to my car or the bus stop and it is dark outside I know that I can call them after 7, until 1 am, and they will escort me to my car. I have never hear of a huge story about crime in campus while I have been attending, but have seen the police once in action, looking for someone. I did not worry because Florida International University has an alert system through text messaging, therefore, if something ever happens I can rely on them notifying me through a text message. I am very pleased there.

ITS ACTUALLY PRETTY SAFE

YOU SHOULD KEEP YOU DOORS LOCK JUST IN CASE OF THE PRANKS FROM PEOPLE. YOU CAN ACTUALLY KNOW WHO LIVES AROUND YOU.
