| Advice on Finding a Job/Internship | |
- Internships are possible, but students have to be willing to ask around to see what is available in their area of interest. Professors are great resources, as well as the Career Center. The Career Center can help students find internships and jobs, as well as other extra help with writing resumes, mock interviews, and alumni networking.
- Students eligible for the work-study program have an easy time finding work. There are many jobs available, plus it is a great way to meet new people and become acquainted with the campus. However, students must qualify for the work-study program through the financial aid office. A certain number of hours will be awarded to students for how many hours they can work. If students do not qualify, they will have to look for a job off campus.
