Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

Parking is a sore subject at Florida Southern. Obtaining a parking permit is relatively simple, and the cost is reasonable. However, the ability to find a parking spot on campus is extremely difficult during school hours. Students will have to resort to parking in a distant lot because empty parking spaces are so hard to come by. In addition, parking lots have been eliminated due to new buildings. Therefore, there is a shortage of spaces, and the problem is only getting worse.

Tickets are given frequently, especially for failure to register a vehicle parked in school parking lots. This is the school's way of making sure everyone is paying for a parking permit if he or she wants to park a car on campus. Guests are commonly given tickets for failing to register a vehicle, as well, but a quick visit to the safety office will clear any fines procured.

Need a Car on Campus

If you have friends who have cars then you don't really need a car. And if you're not too lazy, walgreens and publix are within walking distance. But if you're like me, you wish you had a car.
