Mr. Roboto – The food is excellcent. Between sushi, hibachi, or other asian staple foods you can't go wrong. It is close to campus, affordable, quick, great atmosphere, and really ood food. Plus you can buy some of their sauces to take home and merchandise is available for purchase

True Seminoles Fanatics – students, faculty, staff and even regular citizens are very proud of the team. Everybody somehow represents the school spirit; shirts, bags, tags anything.

Health & Safety:
Safe Environment – Dont know of any safety issue on campus. It actually feels safe and peaceful. I personally dont feel threaten and feel safe to walk anywhere at anytime.

FSU has a huge diversity of people. I think there is a good mix of all races at FSU. Walking around campus you see many different races including Caucasian, Hispanic people, African Americans and Asians. There are also many different types of religions and there are many different places to worship all over Tallahassee.

There are two dining halls on campus, both of which serve pretty good food. Mainly freshman eat at the dining halls because they generally live on campus. There are also more popular places to eat on campus, like a Quiznos, Einstein Brothers, Starbucks, and a Denny's that is open late. There are also on campus convenience stores where you can buy snacks and drinks.

There is so much to do in Tallahassee. There are options for both college students and for the population of people that are from Tallahassee. There are lots of hip, student affordable restaurants, movie theaters, a mall, and nightlife for college students to experience. Football games are a must, and Greek Life is also big at FSU.

While everyone likes to have a good time and spend as much time in the beautiful Florida sun as possible, FSU's academics are wonderful. Most majors are highly competitive.
As a FSU student, there are so many clubs and activities to choose from. If, for whatever reason, there is not a group that you are interested in, you can always grab a few friends and start a new club.
If you have free time with nothing else to do, you can always go to the gym to workout, grab a smoothie, or go to the suana, and go to the SLC to watch a movie (both free with student id).

Go Noles! I love Florida State so far. There is plenty to do. If you are ever bored, then you aren't looking in the right places. Parking on campus is horrible. The only real upside I found in living on campus last year was that you didn't have to find parking on campus because everything is within walking distance. Some of the dorms are nicer than others, but the older ones can be somewhat disgusting. The campus itself is beautiful. There is so much to do. Athletic events are free for students, which helps save money. If I could go back to choosing colleges, I would undoubtedly pick FSU again.

What the People Wasting Time on Campus Do – The computers are pretty nice, but they fill up quickly. For most printing on campus, you will be charged. Wireless can be difficult to connect to at times. You could probably get by without a personal printer, but I would not take the risk of not having a personal computer because you will need to be able to access Blackboard and your email almost everyday (if not daily).

The Strip – In Tallahasse, there are many clubs in the nightlife scene. It is called The Strip. Comprised of 4 or 5 clubs and pubs, this is the happening spot for the 21 and older crowd. Many students will go Thursday through Saturday for a good time with their friends.

Guys & Girls:
Lots of girls and guys at Florida State are involved in Greeklife. The sorority girls are easily spotted by the way the dress or the way they talk. The same goes with frat guys; they can be spotted on campus with all of their brothers and all dressing alike.

Florida State University has the most attractive college campus in the state of Florida in my opinion. The hills that the campus is built on remind me of the foothills of northern Georgia and there are trees everywhere. Some college campuses are built with trendy architecture styles but Florida State is mostly brick buildings that are beautiful and can stand the test of time.

The athletics department and diversified majors is was truly sets off FSU from any other Florida State college.

One of the reasons I chose FSU was because of their Athletics. I love the Football team, the Basketball team, and attending the games is the best thing about FSU. There are tons of IM teams that you can get involved with even if you aren't a star athlete as well.

Health & Safety:
I have felt pretty safe on FSU's campus. Although I know there are police on campus and safety officers near by, I still receive e-mails and other notifications almost every other week of a crime that occurred on campus, so it does make me weary.

Absolutely God Awful – Parking is the largest negative of FSU, at least for me. The availability of parking for students is minimal at best. Most of it is permanently occupied by dorm students car, which means commuting to school takes an extra thirty minutes. Most of the parking lots are a far walk to class and results in you sweating profusely. If you decide to park in a non-student labeled spot you can expect a ticket.

Where to Eat? I have a hard time choosing where I want to eat, especially with a group of people. There's a lot to choose from and variety amongst ethnicity. Most of these restaurants are within walking distance. It ranges in price, it seems to get cheaper as you get closer to campus and more expensive further away.A favorite of mine is a locally owned place called Monk's where they have a good beer selection and an excellent menu. It's one of the many places to eat near campus.

Florida State is chalk full of diversity. While it is probably a majority white it is a very small margin. There are plenty of clubs that are religious in nature and multiple university affiliated churches. Oh and there are more women than men on campus.

Roughly Average – On campus dining is nothing more than you would suspect. The prices are a little high and the quality is generally average, with the occasional exception. The availability of dining options is pretty nice, as there are definitely multiple dining halls and restaurants on campus. At night your choices are far more limited though and this could possibly lead to waits. I wouldn't recommend a meal plan, but the convenience is hard to argue with.

Little Big Town – 1 out of 3 people living in Tallahassee are college students. Tallahassee is home to Florida State, Florida A & M, Tallahassee Community College, and other vocational colleges. I'm a local so I'm more familiar with the are. Most college students don't venture beyond a 5 mile radius of the campus and miss out on local attractions. Tallahassee has many parks and is know for its canopy roads. There's plenty to do if you know what you want to do, meaning there's not a lot to explore like bigger cities. There are not many job opportunities for the more specific trades but the city is growing. If you give it a chance, this town will grow on you.

Drugs and Alcohole – Drinking is all over the campus area and most people drink. Drugs are sparse depending on who you associate with. From personal experience majority of drug users only smoked.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
