Not Much Variety – There are quite a few places to eat around campus, but it seems like they are either way over priced or cheap quality, sometimes both. There are a few gems like the Mom and Pop's food trucks or Denny's. They both give you your money's worth. Chili's and the Food Court are typically okay but can be pricey.

Computer Labs – The places with the most computer labs are either in the libraries or on the West side of campus making finding one nearest to my classes difficult. However, when using the computers you feel very secure and safe in knowing that only enrolled FSU students are able to use them and can't log onto your account to do inappropriate things. The computer quality is super awesome too.

Seminole for Life – Florida State is such an amazing place to attend. These past three years have been nothing short of fantastic with all of the friends I've made and experiences of a lifetime. From football games to campus organizations, FSU doesn't falter in it's ability to give you the best undergraduate experience most students dream of.

Apalachee Parkway and Monroe Streets – While it is a few miles off campus, the restaurants off of these two roads are plenty. There are places serving Italian, Mexican, seafood, Greek, southern comfort, Chinese, Japanese and many more. I love that I can practically get anything I'm craving for just a few miles away. Prices vary due to the quality of food but most are very reasonable.

The academics are really diverse and informative at FSU. The professors are really knowledgeable in their field and are very engaging. Each curriculum is different but the advising offices work with students throughout the entire process to make sure they succeed. The registration process is very simple... it is all done online via blackboard. The ability to drop/add classes is super easy. Make sure to attend class the first day or else you will get dropped. The study abroad program at FSU is another great opportunity. It is one of the best in the country.

Lots of Opportunity – The college of business at FSU is one of the best! The professors and advisors do their best to have you succeed. The COB provides lots of opportunities for internships, job fairs, workshops, speakers, etc. The classes are engaging and contain a wealth of information.

Leave for Class Early! Finding parking close to your class can be difficult! Parking garages fill up really fast. Best advice is to leave at least 45 minutes before your class starts. There is also the option of taking the FSU bus which is free with your FSU card and will avoid the hassle of trying to find a spot. Do not park in a non-student lot/space... you will get a ticket!!!! If you live on campus and don't plan on going around town much a car is not necessary.... but it is definitely convenient to be able to drive anywhere around town when you need to. Personally, I would recommend a car.

Mix Temps – The summer's are pretty hot and we tend to get a lot of rain but it's Florida and that is pretty much what is expected. The sunshine is nice for laying out by the pool! Fall/Winter gets pretty cold! You have to be prepared for extreme temps... really hot in the summer but really cold in the winter!

At FSU there is so many different bars and clubs to choose from. It doesn't matter what your interested in there will be a place for you to go out to. The strip is more greek. Pots is more underclass man and a mixture of greek and non greek people. Coliseum is a newer club so everyone goes there on saturday nights.

At FSU i think joining the greek life is very beneficial to your social life and for future opportunities but I also believe that if you get involved in school activities and extracurriculars you can equally benefit. When it comes to deciding whether your going to go greek or not I would say it all depends on the individual.

Yes, I Plan on Doing One – There are lots of opportunities up near Tallahassee at FSU for internships. I plan on checking them out and figuring out where and which one would be good for me. I would do it in a heartbeat if a chance opened up for me there!

LOVE LOVE LOVE – I love the Exercise Science major! It's not as demanding as Biology yet you learn a lot in regards to health and sciences and it is a very looked up to major. I found my passion for health through the classes simply taken my first year at FSU and love it!!

Guys & Girls:
People Take Care of Themselves – People at this school focus on their studies but also make sure to point out that they take great care and caution of themselves. no one tries to be perfect but everyone pretty much has the same mindset as you when it comes to looking good for school :)

The process of getting into the program I am in was averagely acceptable. You have you maintain an exceptional grade point average and have above average test scores to be accepted.

It depends on when you are trying to park and what part of the school year. During the Fall and Spring Semesters there is literally no parking anywhere after 9am all the way through 12pm. There is a small window of opportunity when lunch time comes around because many people go off campus or home for that or do not have classes for the rest of the day. Tuesdays and Thursdays are the worst. Those are the days most people are on campus all day because most classes are held during those two days. Also during the fall and spring, make sure you arrive on campus or somewhere in walking distance to your class 45 minutes before your class starts. It doesn't matter whether your a freshman or a senior really. Every student has the same parking spaces and garages. After 5pm you can park almost anywhere. Easier parking is around 4:20pm. In the summer, there is usually easy parking.

Cultural Richness – What makes FSU unique lies in the three symbolic torches found in the school seal, which read "Vires, Artes, and Mores." These words translate to strength, skill, and character, respectively. What it means to be a Seminole is a cultured individual who lives up to their full potential and stays true to the person who he or her is meant to be.

Some Computer Labs Are Crazier Than Others – It's important where to go on FSU campus to find a calm, quiet computer lab. For example, first floor of Strozier is usually packed and incredibly loud but the upper levels are almost completely silent and have more open computers. The computer lab at Oglesby is also usually empty and quiet.

I've honestly never set foot into any fraternity or sorority house at FSU. I am about to start my senior year and have never been too familiarized with the Greek life. So I guess Greek life doesn't affect the social atmosphere of the campus too much. It's very possible to be very present and active on campus and not be involved in Greek life.

Could Be Worse – Parking at FSU can be a real pain. Most students have to arrive to campus at least an hour before class starts in order to drive around aimlessly until a spot opens up. ALTHOUGH, if you strategically plan out your schedule according to when campus is less empty, it is possible to find parking quickly on a daily basis. There is also another garage that is about to open, which will help.

Wish I Knew – i dont drive so i dont exactly know what it is like to find parking. i do, in fact, have friends that drive and have heard that it gets a bit complicated to find parking, especially at certain hours of the day.

Health & Safety:
Could Be a Bit Better – florida state itself is safe. at night we have what is called the safe bus which works from 7pm till 3am and picks up students on campus and drives them anywhere they need to get. the bus only works on campus though. we also have the night nole which students can use when they need to get from place to around tallahassee. this is very helpful when going out at night. although we have these methods of transportation safety we get emails notifying us about some of the crimes that occur in school. some of them have been pretty bad that has made me paranoid to walk by myself. i feel as though the campus cops could patrol the school more often at night where most of the crimes occur
