Libraries Are Great. There is numerous libraries on campus and a wide varieties of resources in each. They are open very late and have Starbucks within them. There is also plenty of assistance available if needed. Free tutoring and advising is also available in libraries. Students can also check out textbook, laptops, and Smart rooms for free.

Nightlife in Tallahassee is second to none. We are known for our clubs and parties. There is something to do every night and bars are close to campus.

Dining Is Average – There are a lot of options when it comes dining in Tallahassee. Most restaurants are geared toward college students and therefore have average quality of food. But there are a lot of options when it comes to places to eat and they are very busy all the time.

Marketing and Sales – I am attending Florida State University and I am majoring in Marketing and Sales. All of my professors have had outside experience in the field they teach, some of which currently work outside the university. They are willing to help you and give letters of recommendations to students who ask. They also help students get internships if you seek out their help. Over all FSU has a great business program.

Very Diverse – i will definetly be looking for an internship in the upcoming summer, i know it will be fairly easy to find a good one

Florida State is awesome. I love it. There are always thing to do and I love the scenery. Florida State was the only college I wanted to attend and I have loved since I started.

Sports at Florida State are huge! We have ranked basketball and baseball teams and they are awesome! The women's sports are also ranked and are fabulous.

Off campus living is good. My apartment is within walking distance and parking is sufficient. I do wonder about the safety sometimes, but I am usually with someone and am not alone in the evening. My apartment is furnished and it is comfortable for me. The only thing I don't like is that it's a 12 month lease so if you are not there in the summer, you are still paying for an apartment you are not occupying.

Buses Are Okay – The bus system is pretty good and reliable. There is also the S.A.F.E. bus for going around campus at night. And the night nole is great for weekends.

Parking is available if you are willing to come to campus early. If you want to be one of those people whol rolls out of bed late and then try to find a spot its not happening. And the "I couldn't find parking" excuse doesn't work for professors. Trying to find a spot between 10am and 2pm is difficult, so plan to drive around until you find something.

It's a Great Day to Be a 'Nole! Everyone here is really friendly, and the weather is sunny and warm on average! There are so many different places to eat that are within walking distance from campus, as well as grocery stores. There are campus busses as well as city busses that are extremely convenient and easy to learn how to use. Even with being placed on a wait list for on-campus housing, the process was relatively stress-free.The older dorms aren't great, but they're convenient and a great way to meet people! The Leach Gym is huge, with lots of machines & weights, a pool, a sauna, a hot tub, an indoor track, etc. There aren't even that many undergrad classes that are huge. Generally, the undergrad classes range from 30-150 students. Florida State has a beautiful Green campus that is kept spotless. Go 'Noles!
College Junior 2012-03-20T03:19:00Z
Not bad, most are pretty clean and what not. The Leach is usually crowded, but you just have to go during off hours. The library is amazing! If you want to study with a group or study very quietly by yourself, you can.

The one reason why I enjoy the campus of Florida State University is the over all experience. Being there you get the best of both worlds of the education and social life.

Florida State is very understanding and realizes when there is a time be strict and when it is ok to loosen up on the policies. They let it be your decision to make bad choices and deal with the consequences, becuase you have to learn from your experiences somehow.

I haven't really used the FSU computers, but the wireless for the most part works when I need it for laptop, or cellphone.
College Junior 2012-03-19T01:06:53Z
Dorm Requirements – One thing I dislike about living in the dorms are the level of strictness they hold. Before every break we are required to clean our room which means taking out the trash, cleaning the floor, no fire violations, unplugging all appliances, etc. Very annoying.
College Junior 2012-03-19T01:02:59Z
While I have never lived off campus myself I have heard a lot from the people that do. There are many off-campus housing available you just have to get in early and by early I mean signing your lease at the beginning of the semester before the actual semester you are applying for. So if you're looking for housing for the fall apply at the beginning of the preceding spring semester and vice versa.

Registration Process – The registration process at Florida State University is relatively easy. The program and website is very user friendly and registering for your classes takes less than five minutes. It's getting into the classes you want and need that is the problem. 99% of the time the classes you need to take for your major are either full or not offered at a time you can take it. I had a lot of trouble getting the classes I wanted simply because most of them were full. One example, I am an international affairs major right now and I am required to take a language up to the third level and when I went to register for this class the language I picked to take was completely full at the level I needed, not one spot open anytime during the week. This happens a lot to students. My advice is to be completely ready on registration day. Wake up early and be on the computer right when the window opens and have your course numbers written down so that they can easily be typed in. While this isn't going to guarantee your spot in the classes you want it will give you a better chance.

Guys & Girls:
Stds Are on the Rise! Yes there are plenty of attractive people there, but you will be smart to stay safe and not take your chances.
College Sophomore 2012-03-17T18:49:21Z
Very Diverse – There is plenty of ethnic/racial diversity. Also, many different people from different economic background, political beliefs, religion, and/or sexual orientation.
College Junior 2012-03-17T15:39:45Z
I have seen plenty of variety. With an open mind, you can become friends with anybody. Although there are people that may express themselves at unexpected times, it is not something that only happens at FSU
College Junior 2012-03-17T15:36:35Z
There's plenty of computers available to students and even non-students at the libraries. They're fast most of the time. Because there are so many students, it's convenient to own a personal computer when going inside a library. Definitely own a personal computer for use outside of class.

FSU is very helpful with Financial Aid and user friendly.
