Food Desert – People have described Tallahassee as a food desert. There are scattered seafood places, lots of Mexican, and some Creole chains. That's about it for variety. Of course there are plenty of fast food chains. These places are all affordable and a good time, but if you are looking for variation of cultural food choices, Tallahassee is not the place to go.

Health & Safety:
I feel mostly safe on campus. I have to walk to my car after class at night and never feel uneasy or have a problem. There is a strong Campus PD presence and the blue lights everywhere.

One day the temperature can be in the 80's and the next day it could be in the 40's or 50's. There are some times of the year when it rains a lot and the summers can be very hot and humid. But it doesn't know and there aren't many natural disasters that you have to worry about, only occasional tornado warnings.

Going Greek – Two of my roommates are in a sorority and they love it. It keeps you busy and there are always events to go to and a sense of connection with your sisters or brothers.

Seminole Spirit – Going to athletic events gives you such a sense of pride in your school. Games bring hundreds of students together and you feel connected to everyone around you. My favorite part of FSU are those moments during a home football game when the entire stadium is singing the war chant and doing the tomahawk chop. It's amazing.

USE YOUR UMBRELLA – The weather at Florida State is so bipolar. You could wake up and have to wear a parka for morning classes, have your umbrella for the downpour that comes out of no where, and then have to wear shorts and a tank top after because its humid and hot! The weather can be amazing, but it can switch in the blink of an eye.

Very Nice! Tallahassee is a wonderful town. You can find all sorts of nice places to dine off of campus. Such as sushi places and even exotic italian places.

Many of the organizations on campus really help with one another's philanthropies which helps bring the whole FSU community together.

When I first stepped onto the campus I knew I had found my home. Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating which really helped me to adjust being away from my family. I have met some great people through my time here with some awesome memories that I will never forget. My college experience at Florida State University has certainly been the best; I absolutely love it here and would certainly choose to go here again if I were to do it all over!

More Students Drink Than Drugs – In my opinion, college students at Florida State University definitely drink more than anyone would do drugs. In my time at FSU I have never been peer pressured into doing something that I was not okay with and that for me is very important. Depending on who you are friends with, you may run into some people who do do drugs here and there but it is not a big issue.

There's tons of transportation around campus and on. We have our own bus system that stays on campus and then our own that goes around it as well.

Hit or Miss – Places are chill with ID's but some places out in Tallahassee are grimy.

Guys & Girls:
Extremely Social – Greek life is a huge part of campus social life. It's obvious that they are very prominent on campus. Both girls and girls are EXTREMELY good looking.

the drug scene at fsu is huge mostly in part of its location in the poorest part of town and therefore in the middle of most drug business.

Overall my college experience has been good and full of fun new memories. I wish I could have branched out more socially. School is hard now that I'm a junior, it's vital to study to keep on top of everything.

Guys & Girls:
Social Life – Overall, a very good looking group of kids at FSU. I am a part of greek life and it is very looks oriented. Girls dress fashionable and trendy and guys will either dress guido or like southern fishing boys.

Party Party Party – If you want to come to a school where there's always a party, huge greek life, and tons of social events, then this is the school for you. However, if you actually want to maintain a good GPA and eventually go to grad school, then you'll have to make some serious choices about when and when you can't go out.
The teachers for the most part are fantastic. I am a sophomore and I have run across two that were terrible, but I have nothing to say but fantastic things for the others.

Buses Are Always Late – Transportation here is okay. As for getting to campus, taking the bus from wherever you live is your best option because there's hardly ever parking. However, you have to allow ourself a lot of time to get from one place to another just in case the busses are running late (as they usually are).

Best Football Experience – The fan support and school spirit here is amazing! The football games are a huge deal here and are extremely fun.
