I love Florida State—so much that I’m thinking about living here and going to law school. I like Florida, and being up in the panhandle is a great way to avoid some heat and still have no snow.

I HATE FSU.

I did not enjoy my time in Tallahassee of at FSU. I made some great friends, but noting else was positive about my experiences. My dorm was deplorable, I was assigned a roommate who was involved in drug dealing and pornographic filmmaking. Thankfully I was switched. Parking is a disaster and very stressful. Class availability is limited. Campus facilities are awful. The campus gym, and library are in disrepair and in desperate need of renovation. Campus is very unsafe. There are armed robberies, shootings, muggings, rapes, and assaults almost on a daily basis. A student was stabbed in the lobby of my dorm during my first few months at the school. I am leaving FSU after one semester to transfer to UCF. I absolutely HATED Florida State. I would only recommend you go to FSU if you are offered a large scholarship and live off campus. Otherwise I can't imagine spending my college years here to ever be worth it. UF or UCF are much better choices.
