Overall ExperienceWhat's This?

You would be hard-pressed to find a graduate of Florida State University who doesn’t have fond memories of the years they spent on campus. Current students will also agree that they are happy with their decision to attend school here. There is something for everyone, from athletics to academia, and you would have a hard time finding a more comfortable setting than Tallahassee. It has so much to offer, from exciting nightlife to beautiful weather.

Although it bears the reputation of a party school, FSU also has a growing reputation for turning out some of the best and brightest graduates in the entire nation. The school is now turning its focus on research, which should appeal to those interested in science and mathematics. But never fear, FSU also emphasizes the arts through their award-winning film and theater departments. From math and science, to the arts, FSU offers a vast array of eclectic degrees, which will be nothing but helpful later in your life. Choosing which college to attend is not an easy decision, but if you’re looking for the perfect combination of a good education and a good time, you can’t do much better than Florida State University.

Wouldn't Trade This Past Year for the World

At every preview and tour and orientation I went to for FSU, they kept on saying "It has all the perks of a big research university with a small campus community atmosphere!" Over and over and over I heard those lines. I thought that was just what they used to lure you in. I didn't care. But after spending the past 8 months here, I realize those words couldn't be more true. Because this school is so big, the opportunities are limitless, but somehow, it doesn't feel like a big school at all. Everywhere I go I either make friends or run into people I know, and this campus feels more like home to me than anywhere else in the world.
