School Spirit
Fordham is quite deficient in school spirit when it comes to athletics. Unfortunately, several of the teams do not have very good winning records. Even more unfortunate, the teams with the best records are often the most overlooked. Distance and time of games seems to keep most Lincoln Center students from attending sporting events, while pure lack of interest and hope deters the Rose Hill students.
Getting Tickets
Undergraduate students get free admission to any home game of any sport as long as they show their Fordham ID. For an away game, students must purchase tickets for whatever price the opposing school is selling them for. Depending on the game, Fordham will sometimes have lower-priced tickets available for students who wish to attend away games.
Best Place to Take a Walk
If you're at Rose Hill, a walk or run around the entire campus is always nice, weather permitting. If you're looking for a shorter route, Edwards Parade is perfect. Students get free entrance into the New York Botanical Garden (which is right across the street from campus) so that's an excellent place to walk if you're looking for a change of pace and some beautiful scenery. If you're at Lincoln Center, Central Park is the place to go to take a walk; it's very close to the campus and a lovely place for a stroll.
